Pouring rain notwithstanding, the District’s biggest & beastliest beer festival was absolutely EPIC! Thanks to all of the amazing revelers that joined us this year for the merry monster's 11th time around as the region's biggest & baddest tribute to the wonderful world of craft beer. We hope you had a much fun as we did sampling through this year's mind-boggling selection of more than 350 brews on draft from 175+ of the finest American and international producers set against a backdrop of local food trucks and two stages of live music. The weather couldn't hold us back, it was an abolute blast!

WHAT’S SNALLY?
Snallygaster is Washington DC's beastliest beer festival – a rollicking salute to the planet's finest craft beer. For one day and one day only, we’ll unleash no fewer than 350 of the most sought-after, small batch and rare craft beers & ciders from 175+ producers against a backdrop of the best of the best in food trucks, live music, fun and games. Far and away the biggest event of the year for beer geeks of every stripe. And yes, this is absolutely a family-friendly affair, so grab the kids and come out for a day full of fun in downtown DC.
WHERE’S SNALLY?
With the Capitol building as our backdrop, Snallygaster lives smack dab in the heart and hubbub of DC on Pennsylvania Ave NW between 3rd & 6th – a location that provides a huge footprint to allow for fewer, quicker lines along with plentiful seating, shaded areas, restroom access and room to roam. As always, we strongly discourage driving to the event – for many reasons, not the least of which is that there truly is no parking to be had. Instead, take the metro, grab a cab or use a ride share. You’ll be glad you did.

Snallygaster serves as the largest annual fundraiser for Arcadiafood.org, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a more equitable and sustainable local food system in our region. By attending , you are supporting the demonstration farm in Alexandria (where they grow food using sustainable practices and host thousands of school kids to teach them about farming & healthy foods), two mobile farmer’s markets dedicated to under-served & low-income neighborhoods, a veteran's program and so much more. Haven't heard of them? You should, they're doing some very cool things right here in our own backyard.
It takes a lot of humans to make this beast breathe. If you think you've got what it takes to pitch in, join the brew crew and lend a hand for the day, we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for people pleasing volunteers to help out with check-in, pouring beer, and all sorts of other things required to make this day the greatest. You'll be rewarded with a commemorative tee, backstage access to the brews, total bragging rights and our undying gratitude.
